PECO Family Jams: Harvest Mosaics

Event Description

We’ve been watching Terry the Squirrel hide nuts and seeds all over our sculpture garden so we know soup and sweater weather is upon us. In celebration of autumn, we will be making mosaics out of dried beans, corn, and seeds that you can take home. Isaiah Zagar, creator of PMG, uses materials that are much more durable than beans to make his mosaics, but he has also used many unusual things over the years. Learn about some of them during tours of our fully mosaicked basement at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 p.m.

PECO Family Jams are PMG’s one-of-a-kind, family-oriented programs, featured every second Sunday of the month between NOON and 4:00 PM. No reservations are required for PECO Family Jams, but admission tickets should be purchased in advance here.
