Calling all creatives, makers and emerging artists! We are excited to introduce the PMG Community Art Closet.
The art closet is stocked with a range of supplies for all skills and age ranges, including art supplies, craft materials and more! Use what you find inside to make a new craft or add onto a project you are currently working on. We hope the materials you find in our closet will help inspire creativity and support artists in the city of Philadelphia and beyond.
Who does it serve?
The Community Art Closet is FREE to anyone who is visiting or walking by Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens.
Where is it?
Look out for our colorful Community Art Closet located next to the front entrance of Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens at 1020 South Street.
When is it available?
The closet will be out during open hours, Wednesday- Monday from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. You can also check our calendar to verify our hours.
What else do you need to know?
Please be sure to bring a bag so you can take your new materials and supplies home with you.
Admission to PMG is not required to access the materials in the closet. If you plan to visit PMG after picking up materials, they should be kept inside your bag while walking through. These materials are meant to be used elsewhere, not in our space.
Where can I drop off donations?
We accept donations of new or lightly used art and craft supplies or other materials that can be repurposed for artworks.
