Join us for an opening reception for “Of Earthen Kin: Works by Katie Kaplan.” Kaplan is a Philadelphia-based multidisciplinary artist whose work spans printmaking, sculpture, textiles, video, and installation. In this exhibition, Kaplan explores the environment, focusing particularly on vibrating landscapes and close-up examinations of fungi and foliage. The exhibition also features her screen printed print and poster series, which are deeply tied to environmental, queer and gender activism.

The galleries will be open to view this new exhibition, and Kaplan will be present to chat about her work. Light refreshments will be served.
