Start your Memorial Day weekend off right at Twilight in the Gardens!
Let your stress melt away as you catch a live performance from award-winning singer/songwriter Avi Wisnia. Wisnia presents an eclectic mix of refreshingly original songs and inventive covers, finding inspiration in Brazilian bossa nova, acoustic American folk, 1950’s west-coast jazz, and contemporary pop. His clever lyrics give a knowing nod to his contemporaries, while his smooth vocals and deft piano skills assure you that this is truly something new.
Take home some of that PMG glow with glass jar lanterns! Teaching Artist Meg Bowersox is a recent graduate from UArts with a Masters in Museum Education. Her main love is photography, but she also enjoys working with painting and textiles design. At this Twilight event Bowersox will be helping you create lanterns using recycled glass jars and colorful tissue paper.
You can also learn more about PMG through fun, casual mini-tours of the space and view the exhibition Allá Abajo/ Down Below: A Reaction to Our Times by Ornella Ridone in our galleries.
Twilight in the Gardens is a BYOBBS event (Bring Your Own Booze, Blanket, and Snacks), so come, relax, and picnic in the space!
