Isaiah Zagar, creator of Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, has a very unique and, some say, liberating method for creating mosaics. In this special two-hour workshop we will explore techniques used in the Zagar Method. Participants will examine Zagar murals on and off site, prepare and create materials, and make a mosaic.
You will learn how to cut glass, break tile, mix grout, and lay out a small mosaic to take home (along with some other special handmade elements). This workshop will empower you with mosaic-making skills and inspiration for future endeavors.
Tickets are $35 per person. This workshop is open to participants ages 12+, but all participants under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult participant.
