Ebb Tide, the current exhibition in Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens’ galleries, features embroidered fabric sculptures by artist Tasha Lewis. This new body of work is comprised of busts, standing figures, and vessels that are encrusted with beads, pearls and detailed embroidery that invite close inspection.
On October 19, PMG welcomes you to visit the exhibition after hours and chat with Lewis. Learn more about the meaning behind the work, her artistic process, and more. Enjoy some light fare and wine by Barefoot Wine & Bubbly and enjoy an intimate guided experience of the exhibition as Lewis tours you through the galleries. This event is free to the public; reservations are required as space is limited.
