Celebrate the rich traditions of Día de los Muertos by creating a painted skull inspired by Living Through Death: Works by Ivette Chaires. In this hands-on workshop, paint three-dimensional papier-mâché skulls using vibrant colors and patterns. Draw inspiration from the themes of remembrance, celebration, and cultural tradition found throughout Chaires’ exhibition and the decorative skulls used in Día de los Muertos traditions.
No painting experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided.
This workshop is offered in English and Spanish.
