PMG proudly displays the works of local, national, and international artists whose visions align with our organization’s mission of educating the public about mosaic, folk, and visionary arts.

If you are an artist interested in exhibiting your work at PMG, fill out the Exhibition Application. Artists who create work relating the mission and aesthetics of Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens are welcome to submit applications. The form consists of a short artist statement, a paragraph on why your art connects with our space, some basic installation questions, and/or links to a website or blog. Please contact Exhibitions Coordinator, Adam Mazur, with questions at exhibitions@phillymagicgardens.org.

Please keep in mind that our space is open to the general public and that our permanent mosaic installation cannot be compromised.

New Alchemy: Works by Ricky of Luna Parc

    Friday, September 2nd - Sunday, November 13th
    Time: All day
Famous for his elaborate visionary environment, Luna Parc, in northern New Jersey, madcap artist Ricky Boscarino will recreate a world of his own by filling PMG's galleries with original artworks and installations. His inspiration to create is derived from the medieval science of Alchemy, where magicians attempted to transform any object into gold. Boscarino’s New Alchemy manipulates common materials, such as bottles, tile, clay, and found objects, and transforms them into grandiose works of art. This exhibition explores a truly unique mind and highlights the infinite possibilities of how art can be defined.
