Antiracist Wellness Alliance presents, Woke Wellness: A Transformative Meditation
FREE (Limited capacity, Registration required)
Join us for a monthly series of wellness led by Black, Indigenous, People of Color with BIPOC bodies, orientations, experiences and wellness desires in mind. A space where self care is priority for people of color, and where allies are welcome to evolve.
“Woke Wellness” and the Antiracist Wellness Alliance (AWA) is a collective effort to embrace and respect people of color by providing a platform to expand consciousness and healing into our communities. By putting BIPOC persons on the front stage with the support of existing wellness communities, spaces, and allies, we can create a foundation for change and make wellness tangible, affordable and comfortable for everyone.
Diversity and inclusion is more than inviting everyone; it’s including people of color in all wellness spaces and creating anti racist environments as the new and only acceptable standard in wellness, to amplify the voices of Black, Indigenous, People of Color and enhance the experience of wellness by making self-care safe, healing and inviting for everyone. Join us to elevate into true wellness!
September’s workshop will be a guided meditation led by Nyèrra Harris, an intuitive healer and psychic empath.
To ensure the safety of the instructor and participants, capacity is extremely limited. This program will take place outdoors and masks are required to be worn when you’re not on your mat. Hand sanitizer and a hand-washing station are also available.
