Philadelphia Magic Gardens offers monthly workshops with the artist himself, Isaiah Zagar. Isaiah teaches a 2 full days of Breaking tile, cutting mirror, gluing tile and grouting. Students work on a mosiac mural from conception to completion.
Cost for attending a workshop: $250 for new students $50 for alumni This includes all materials as well as lifetime access to all future workshops.
Workshops meet at 1020 South St. Philadelphia, PA 19147 USA and run from 9AM to 4PM rain or shine.
Comfortable work type clothing, a hat and a bottle of warter is recommended. There are many great places in the area to buy a lunch or you may bring one. Parking is available across the street at Super Fresh or Whole Foods. Sunday on street parking is available.

We are always looking for new public walls to host workshops. So if you've always dreamed of having a Zagar mosaic tile mural on one of your public walls please email info@philadelphiasmagicgardens.org or call 215-733-0390.
Walls must be:
- Accessible to the public
- Not in danger of being destroyed
- The mural will be no Higher than 10 feet
- Wall must be a masonry wall (cinder blocks, bricks, stucco) not wood
- No further than a 1/2 mile from PMG
- Designed by Isaiah Zagar, executed by Isaiah & Students on a Saturday and Sunday
- Need access to a bathroom
- Mural will be of no cost to owner of property (donations appreciated)
For locations outside center city Philadelphia/out of state we need a minimum enrollment of 10-15 students.
