Summer Solstice Festival at Philadelphia's Magic Gardens!

Vamos celebre! Venez célébrer! Come celebrate! It's that time again, the longest day of the year, and Philadelphia's Magic Gardens (PMG) is hosting its second annual Summer Solstice Festival. Sunday June 21st, 2:00pm-8:00pm, will be a day of multicultural music, dance, art, poetry, and acrobatics with influences from India, Turkey, Africa, and more, right here on South Street! Join PMG, talented local artists, and several neighborhood vendors and allow your senses to be stimulated by the vibrant colors, movements, sounds, and tastes of this unique celebration. Cap off the night under the stars with a dance party from 8:00pm - 10:00pm featuring tunes from around the world, selected by DJ Ginkgo. Refreshments provided by Jim's Steaks, La Fourno and Starbucks.

Admission for this day of festivity is $7 for adults, $5 for students and members and free for kids twelve and under. Become a new member and get a free ticket! Membership includes unlimited visits to the Magic Gardens during regular hours, three guest passes, and 10% off any purchased mosaic piece. Quick! Announcing PMG's Bomb's Away Philly Summer Film Series!

Ban All Nukes Generation (BANG) is hosting a five-part nuclear-themed film series that emphasizes a three-part process for disarmament: Learn. Discuss. Act. Join BANG this summer at the Magic Gardens for public screenings followed by open discussions featuring commentaries by guest film and nuclear policy experts. Four dollars will cover your admission fee, wine, and refreshments. Join us June 12th , June 26th, July 10th, and July 24th.
