Arts on South
The Arts on South program will be undergoing a temporary hiatus while PMG takes time to modify and revise this program. We are working on developing relationships with fresh and exciting organizations, and also coming up with solutions to obtain more gallery spaces. PMG is pleased to team up with the South Street Headhouse District to re-evaluate and breathe new life into this important program.
Please stay tuned during our time of transition, we look forward to revealing the new and improved Arts on South program in the future!

*Please note there will not be a Fourth Friday for August 2012 due to the re-evaluation process the Arts on South program is undergoing.
Managed by Philadelphia's Magic Gardens, in collaboration with the South Street Headhouse District, the current Arts on South participants will occupy three retail spaces from April 15, 2012 through August 15, 2012.
Storefront Program
The Storefront Program partners local artists with businesses who have an interest in displaying artwork in their establishments. The program seeks to provide local South Street businesses with a creative transformation and Fourth Friday openings provide an excellent draw of new customers for local businesses.
"Mighty Writers was thrilled to be a part of the Arts on South program over the last nine months. Free space for nonprofits and arts groups is hard to find, and the numerous vacancies on South Street (and in other areas of the city) need to be put to better use through programs like AoS. We were most happy with the walk-in exposure we gained through the space, as we recruited new volunteers, students, parents and supporters into our growing community of Mighty Writers."
- Maggie Leyman, Development Director of Mighty Writers
