PMG works closely with school and educational groups to link tours to specific lesson plans and curricula. Visiting groups range from pre-school to college students, and tours can highlight particular themes that fit both teachers' and students' needs. For Educators

Teacher Scholarships
PMG offers Teacher Scholarships for educators to attend the Mosaic Mural Workshop free of charge.  You must be a member of PMG to apply. Applications for 2012 workshops will be due January 1st for workshops from January - June, and April 1st for workshops from July - December and can be found at this link. More information about the workshops and the Safety Waiver can be found here. Annual Back to School Ball
Friday, September 14, 2012 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Last year over 100 teachers experienced this FREE evening for educators amongst the shimmering mosaics of Philadelphia's Magic Gardens! The 2011 Back to School Ball will feature tours of PMG, hands-on art activities, PMG lesson plans, music, refreshments, a Question and Answer session with Isaiah Zagar, raffle prizes and more! PMG Lesson Plans

The following lesson plans are designed to coincide with your students' trip to PMG and are directly applicable to the classroom in a variety of subject areas including art, writing, history, and environmental studies.

Visionary Visits Free Tours

Visionary Visits provides free guided Site Tours of PMG with hands-on projects for at-risk and economically-disadvantaged youth and underserved audiences, spanning July 2011 through June 2012. We have a limited number of Visionary Visit tours available. Please fill out this application form to apply and email Education and Outreach Manager, Kay Healy, with any questions.
