General Admission Self-Guided Tour

$5 for adults, $2 for ages 6-12, FREE for children 5 and under
Explore the fully mosaicked gallery space and labyrinth sculpture garden at your own leisure. Visitors can spend as little as 20 minutes or stay for hours, viewing the thousands of diverse tiles, intricate sculptures, and varied texts embedded in the walls. Garden Guide interpreters are available to give brief introductions to Philadelphia's Magic Gardens and answer questions. Self-guided tours are available during all PMG hours, Sun - Thurs 11:00 - 6:00 PM, Fri - Sat 11:00 - 8:00 PM.
Groups of over 10 pre-K children are $2 per student. Self-Guided Tour groups over 20 people must reserve in advance by emailing khealy@phillymagicgardens.org or by calling 215-733-0390.

Weekend PMG Site Tours

Get an insiders' view of the Magic Gardens. These guided interpretive tours take visitors through the Magic Gardens main site and nearby mosaicked properties. Topics include Zagar's mosaic techniques and influences, the materials used in the mosaics (with a particular focus on tiles and global folk art), the narratives behind his iconography and images, and the history of South Street and Philadelphia's Magic Gardens. Tours last approximately one hour. Drop in or reserve your spot for a scheduled public tour on Saturdays at NOON and 4:00 PM and Sundays at 4:00 PM.

Weekend Neighborhood Walking Tours

April through October
$10/Adults, $6/Children 6 - 12, $4/Children 5 and under

Take an hour and a half walk into the alleyways along South Street and Bainbridge to view Isaiah Zagar's glittering creations! Led by a trained Philadelphia's Magic Gardens interpreter, you'll learn detailed information about Zagar's technique along with the personal and community stories depicted in his large, shimmering murals. Walking tour price includes admission to PMG.
